The Beginning of Life’s Journey

Even having travelled for a long time,
By land, sky and ocean,
Reaching as far as the stars,
You have not really journeyed at all.
Life does not begin with the body,
Nor the journey measured with time
Or distance travelled,
As one may misunderstand.

It begins the day you close your eyes,
Relaxed in both body and mind,
Visualising the shining sun within,
That is the true beginning of life’s journey,
Whose end is the ultimate destination,
Of abounding eternal happiness.
